About Tour du ALS

Every year hundreds of cyclists, runners and hikers climb the Mont Ventoux at the Tour du ALS. The goal is to achieve a fantastic sporting achievement and to raise as much money as possible in the fight against ALS.

In 2020 the 9th edition of the Tour du ALS will take place. In the past 8 editions, more than 3,500 participants have now climbed Mont Ventoux. Which together has already raised over € 7 million in donation funds.

In addition to the sporting challenge, the family feeling is also paramount.

Because what is now a major event, originated in 2011 from a small group of people who decided to climb the Mont Ventoux.

What is ALS?

ALS (Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a very serious condition in which one’s life expectation is the average of 3 years after being diagnosed. The cause of this disease is yet unknown and there is no medicine for ALS. All the more reason to raise money so we can change this together.
